Billie Jago is a published writer, teacher trainer and public speaker. With over 18 years' experience in English language education, she bring together deep industry knowledge, fresh perspectives and practical ideas that inspire educators and challenge the way we think about teaching and learning.
Billie provides workshops, talks and trains teachers on a wide range of topics, from AI and digital learning to inclusive education, multimodal learning and emerging trends in teaching. Her sessions combine industry expertise with practical insights, giving educators the knowledge, tools and confidence to apply new ideas in their own contexts. From international conferences and plenary talks to hands-on workshops and professional development programmes, she has worked with thousands of teachers around the world to explore new approaches and shape the future of education.
In her writing, she specialises in digital learning and assessment, and has authored content for leading titles such as Life (National Geographic Learning), Gold Experience (Pearson), Roadmap (Pearson), New Close-up (National Geographic Learning) and Voices (National Geographic Learning). She also regularly develops assessment materials for exams such as PTE Academic, KEY for schools, Cambridge English qualifications and Oxford Young Learners.
She is the founder of ELTcpd, a professional development platform for ELT professionals offering training through YouTube, self-paced courses, workshops and a podcast.
She is the Pearson GSE Ambassador for the UK, delivering training sessions, contributing to research papers and writing regular articles on the GSE and its uses.
Billie was the co-director and co-founder of OtterEducation - supporting publishers and education companies with digital content development, accessibility, assessment and AI integration.
